APIX+ Passenger Name Record (PNR)

Passenger Name Records (PNR) are the airline data source that expose reservation information to Border Control Agencies. Created when the reservation is made, it contains the history of the booking and all travellers associated with it. Airlines are able to send reservation information to Border Control Agencies in an airline format which APIXSM+PNR receives and converts the reservation data to the same consistent format required by back-end systems.

While Advance Passenger Information provides the outline use to identify the threat, reservation information provides the background information, guides the investigators in the right direction, enabling them to seek out other intelligence that will expose other threats and provide detail for further investigation.
