By extending border control to the point of departure, expensive repatriation and subsistence costs for unwanted visitors such as known criminals, high risk persons or those who have no legal right of entry are fully mitigated.

APIX+iAPI enables border control agencies and airlines to work together for mutual benefit. Using international open standards the system enables border control agencies to clear travellers prior to travel. The system is fully flexible, operating in query response mode clearing as traveller check-in, batch mode to clear a whole flight and in a push mode to provide an unsolicited status for a traveller directly to the airline.
