APIX^SM (Advance Passenger Information eXchange) and APIX^SM Client

APIX offers an evolutionary approach to Border Management; a common platform for border agencies looking to move towards an ARINC fully integrated management solution, or for those wanting to integrate with a third party system. APIX enables a step migration from receiving basic Advance Passenger Information, to reservation data‘‘ and finally, an interactive authority to carry system.

ARINC’s APIX receives Advance Passenger Information data from air, land and maritime carriers and presents it to a Border Control agencies’ back end system in a consistent format. The enhanced features of APIX provide validation of key aspects of the Advance Passenger Information to ensure they fall within defined ranges, highlighting when information is out of range.

APIX and APIX Client are designed to work together. The APIX Client is a user interface to APIX enabling business administrators to run reports and view source traveller data, providing support for stake holder management and ensuring carrier compliance.
